I'M NOBODY! WHO ARE YOU?
By Emily Dickinson
I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you—Nobody—Too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! they'd advertise—you know!
How dreary—to be—Somebody!
How public—like a Frog—
To tell one's name—the livelong June—
To an admiring Bog!
Sometime I think it is better to be a humble nobody than a proud somebody. After all, somebodies have to spend their time maintaining their status by telling the world how great they are. How boring!
But the true is I want to be somebody because I am nobody! I can't relinquish what I have , I also can't live and do not to care how people look at me. I just can't be myself.
